About Me

I am a mathematical biologist interested in understanding biochemical networks that control cell polarization, differentiation, and motility. The mathematical tools I use to study these questions include partial differential equations (PDEs), nonlinear ordinary differential equations (ODEs), and stochastic models.

I received my Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics at the University of British Columbia in December 2009. I was a posdoc at the Altschuler and Wu Laboratory at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. I am currently studying cancer evolution with Ryan Gutenkunst at the University of Arizona.
